Iris M. Kim, PhD & Founder

Dr. Iris M. Kim is a counseling psychologist who works with adults and adolescents in helping them resolve their mental health issues. Dr. Kim specialize in PTSD, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems using integrative modalities. Her approaches to therapy involves creating a safe space for clients to express their inner feelings/conflicts freely. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults at a psychiatric inpatient unit in a New York City hospital. She is bilingual in English and Korean.

Vera Fabris, LCSW, brings over 30 years of extensive clinical experience to Manhattan Creative Arts Therapy. Originally from Croatia, Vera is known for her warm, non-judgmental presence and her deep commitment to culturally inclusive and diverse care. Throughout her decades of practice, she has guided individuals and families through a wide range of mental health challenges with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

Angela Ryu, LCAT

Ms. Hankyung Angela Ryu is a devoted psychotherapist based in New York, NY, practicing at Manhattan Creative Arts Therapy PLLC. She supports individuals facing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, relationship struggles, and hyperactive disorders (ADD/ADHD). Additionally, she offers marriage counseling and bereavement/grief counseling. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean, Ms. Ryu effectively communicates with and treats patients from diverse backgrounds. James Jung, LMSW

James Jung, LMSW, holds a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University and specializes in helping clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use issues. He has experience working with adolescents, college students, young professionals, and adults, as well as couples and families. James seeks to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share their feelings, experiences, worldviews, and thoughts. He uses CBT modalities, client-centered, and solution-focused therapy. James is culturally sensitive and an active listener who believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients.

Yeseul Park, LCAT

Yeseul Park is an Art Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across school-based, community, and clinical settings. She has supported individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral challenges, dementia, and a range of mental health needs. Her work includes individual and group art therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and wellness-focused programming that encourages emotional expression, self-awareness, and meaningful connection through the creative process.

Yeseul’s therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and creative arts therapy interventions. She believes in creating a warm, compassionate, and emotionally safe environment where clients feel supported in exploring their experiences and strengths through art-making. Drawing from her multicultural background and clinical experiences in both the United States and South Korea, she values meeting each individual where they are and supporting healing, resilience, and personal growth across the lifespan.

Michelle Cohn, LCAT

Michelle Cohn is an art therapist and artist based in New York City. She works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, executive functioning, and ADHD. Her experience spans outpatient mental health clinics, hospitals, community-based programs, and wellness-focused settings.

Michelle’s approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, integrating art therapy, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and nature-based practices. She is particularly passionate about eco-art therapy and exploring how connection to the natural world can support emotional well-being, sensory grounding, and personal growth. She approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, working collaboratively to foster insight, growth, and meaningful change.

  • Jiyeon is an operations manager with a background in contemporary art, gallery management, and cross-cultural project coordination. With over a decade of experience working across New York and Seoul, she brings a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to organizational systems, client experience, and day-to-day operations. At MCAT Clinic, she supports administrative management, workflow coordination, and the development of a welcoming and efficient environment for both clients and practitioners.


  • Yesora Song is an artist who specializes in painting and mural work. She has worked on both historic restorations and new creative projects, and she enjoys using art as a way to connect people with their own creativity. Yesora focuses on making art accessible and enjoyable, helping participants explore self-expression, relaxation, and discovery through different artistic techniques.
